Why is Valplast superior to all other flexible partial resins in the
World?
Valplast, the original flexible partial resin, was developed, tested and
perfected over a six year period and was released commercially in the
United States in 1954. Since it's introduction, the resin has remained
unchanged, and has been consistently successful for over four decades. For
typical Valpast partials with the standard repertoire of clasps and
designs for the palatal, lingual and buccal areas, the resin provides the
perfect degree of flexibility and stability when processed and finished to
the recommended thickness. Also, the flexibility can be varied to an
extent by thickness, if needed, and more appropriately, by design. For
full dentures or wide flat ridge upper partials, designing a full palate
will cause the Valplast base to behave with nearly the rigidity of
acrylic. Valplast is the only flexible resin for dentistry that offers a
manufacturer's lifetime warranty against breakage or fracture in normal
use. It's natural color properties, consistency and non-allergenic
properties make it the perfect choice.
If Valplast has been around so long, why haven't I heard of it ?
Valplast International has recently opened up many new channels
for marketing and processing because increased demand and new technology
has made it possible to support a much higher volume of material sales and
customer support, domestically and overseas. Between 1990 and 1997 the
number of processing laboratories in the United States has quadrupled and
the number of partials fabricated has increased ten fold.
